Nowadays, silica film materials with a refractive index of 1.46 are mainly used in the market. This is why glass lenses have better transmittance than resin lenses. At present, in the United States, the Japanese resin sheet market share is more than 90%, and Europe is about 50%. In the less developed countries, glass lenses still occupy most of the market. At present, the Chinese glasses market is transitioning from glass to resin.
